It's the big time for fashion-minded curvy girls uptown.
Plus size models will grace Uptown Fashion Week's runway for the first time since the show's inception in 2010, event founder Albania Rosario said.
'Fashion should be accessible for everybody no matter what size they are,' said Rosario, who initially started the showcase to raise awareness for domestic abuse.
'There is an ample market in the plus size industry,' she added. 'I don't want to limit it to tall, skinny models.'
Event organizers kicked off the first-ever casting call Friday at the United Palace Theater to seek 18- to 35-year-old buxom fashionistas interested in flaunting their figures Sept. 12 in the Lake House at Van Cortlandt Golf Course.
The beauties would wrap up the three-day fashion extravaganza, which starts Sept. 10 at Maranello Restaurant and Lounge in Washington Heights.

It features haute couture, avant-garde and trendy fashions by more than a dozen designers from New York City, Peru, Columbia and Venezuela.
'It's not just about building a fashion bridge from Lincoln Center to northern Manhattan, but showcasing these places uptown that are trendy and fabulous,' Rosario said.
The call follows a 'Kurvacious Model Competition' this summer - sponsored by a Harlem boutique of the same name - which drew more than 120 women who wear at least a size 10.
Rhonda Proctor-Grays, 28, of Maryland, was named the winner last month by a panel of judges that included Sophia Davis from Fashion Avenue News and Theresa Randolph from Ms. Full-Figured USA.
