At Paris Men's Fashion Week on Friday, both Givenchy's Riccardo Tisci and Comme des Garçons' Rei Kawakubo 'enhanced' their fall/winter 2014 runway shows by draping male models in bizarre facial coverings. The results might give 50 Shades of Grey producers some high-end BDSM ideas for lovers Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele.

Tisci kept it subdued by just covering his boys' faces with fishnet while they marched around a fenced-in basketball court. 'Basketball and Bauhaus,' the designer, who played ball in his youth, told the New York Times of his inspirations. 'It's a collection about freedom, about lines and blocks; very luxury and elegant.' Tisci also referred a passion for Hispanic culture, which the Times says gave him the idea 'for fishnet over the models' face and slicked-back hair, divided by a part.'

Models at the Comme des Garçons show looked like they had their manes dipped in motor oil and knotted in front of their faces, giving them a somewhat alien look. Designer Rei Kawakubo's went scissor-happy, slicing slits and holes into jackets, suit pieces and even shoes.
