High Street favourite L.K. Bennett has enlisted the fashion force of this year's bright young modelling star, Sam Rollinson, to show off its spring/summer 2014 campaign.
The Doncaster-born model follows in the well-dressed footsteps of British actresss Rosamund Pike and Emily Mortimer in modelling for the brand, and features in a series of retrospective poses that draws inspiration from the brand's love affair with the seaside and traditional British 'caffs'.
And you'd be hard pushed to find anything closer to that than London's Regency Café - a quirky-cool gaff that's celebrated for its retro décor that has stayed virtually the same since it opened in 1947. We're taking lino floor (patched with yellow gaffer tape), Colman's mustard and gingham curtains around the lower half of the windows and Formica tables. It's quintessentially British in its truest form and was voted London's fifth best restaurant by over one million users of Yelp last year.
The new collection itself which features a cheery palette of raspberry, coral, barley sugar to bright white and navy in exaggerated shapes cut out of structured fabrics.
The seaside-inspired collection will be launching in store and online from February, while its sister capsule line, which features towards the end of the film in beautiful black and white shots, will launch alongside the collection in selected stores on 12th February, ahead of London Fashion Week.
