The 2014 Austin Fashion Awards, capping off this year's Austin Fashion Week, culminated on May 3, bringing a parade of Austin designers, hairstylists and makeup artists to Austin Music Hall.
It's now been six years since Austin Fashion Week kicked off. Doing it's part to help keep Austin weird, the Austin Fashion Week caters to a more independent designer than other shows might feature, according to organizers. Austin Fashion Week is one of the largest festivals and events held in the area. It draws an estimated 18,000 people to check out new threads in the heart of America's new playground.
