Lupita Nyong'o delivered a heartbreaking performance in awards season darling 12 Years A Slave - a role for which she has been receiving a number of accolades - but she has also been a regular feature on Best Dressed lists for the amazing looks she has worn on various red carpets! It's so refreshing to hear from an actress as humble as Lupita herself. On her sudden fame, she said that, 'There are so many highlights that are no longer highlights. I'm living a very swollen life,' and that she 'couldn't have dreamed this up.' She is a total class act.

'12 Years A Slave' Director Steve McQueen On Lupita Nyong'o: He 'Rubbed [His] Eyes In Disbelief' After Seeing Her Audition Tape

Her 12 Years A Slave director Steve McQueen, for example, said that, after seeing Lupita's audition tape, he 'just kind of rubbed [his] eyes in disbelief and needed someone else to confirm what [he] was seeing.'
