Fourth Annual Pet Care and Adoption Fair

The Fourth Annual Pet Care and Adoption Fair will take place Saturday, April 26 ^th, 2013 from 12:00 Noon to 3:00pm on Lamara Street, adjacent to Habersham Village Shopping Center.

Services available will include Low-Cost Pet Vaccinations, Heartworm Testing, and Low-Cost Pet Micro-chipping provided by Dr. Beth Martin, Pet Nail Clipping provided by Diva Dogs Grooming, and Dog Washing. Some of the fun activities being offered include a Dog Lure Run provided by the Savannah Kennel Club, and a Children's Carnival with Bounce Houses, a Cake Walk, an Easter Bonnet Decorating Contest, and more, provided by Jacob G. Smith Elementary School's PTA.

100% of the proceeds from the event will benefit both Jacob G. Smith Elementary School and the participating local pet rescue agencies. The fun-filled event is expected to draw over 1000 people, with over 30 vendors, including Groomers, Veterinarians, and Trainers. Food Manufacturers and other vendors are scheduled to participate, offering a variety of products including handmade pet clothing and accessories, jewelry, dog collars, and much more!

A number of local area Pet Rescue Agencies are scheduled be present with pets available for adoption. For every local pet rescue adoption, TailsSpin Pet Food and Accessories will assist new pet owners by giving them a free small bag of dog or cat food, a free engraved pet ID tag, a coupon for a free self-serve dog wash, and 10% off their purchase that day.
