Full Figured Fashion Week® 2014 Plus Size Models Announced

We reported previously that FFF Week® Creator and Executive Producer Gwen Devoe and her team were holding their annual casting tour, looking for plus size models to walk the runway at this year's Full Figured Fashion Week® .

After visiting eight cities and seeing many beautiful plus size models audition, they have chosen 40 lucky ladies to strut their stuff this year.

With this being the last FFF Week®, Casting Director Sharon Quinn shared her thoughts exclusively with us on her experience with being involved in the model selection process and being a part of FFF Week® overall:

'Casting for FFF Week® for the past five years (2010-2014) has been one of the best experiences of my career. Having been in the business now for over 30 years, it brings me much joy to see the models we have selected for these shows begin to soar in their careers. FFF Week® has jumpstarted (and sometimes re-ignited) the careers of so many of the plus sized models that you see today.

It has not been an easy job, selecting models while also while maintaining the FFF Week® doctrine of keeping it exciting, fresh and new while also maintaining diversity. I'm glad to have played a part in all of that and I will truly miss going on the road and documenting the excitement that the models bring with them when they meet us during the auditions...It has been an absolutely exhilarating ride and while I am sad to see it all end....I look forward to what the future has in store for us all, I already know it's going to be simply amazing!'
