Ed Asner, 'Happy Days' Alum Join ABC Family's 'Chasing Life' (Exclusive)

Chasing Life has added two TV veterans.

Ed Asner and Happy Days alum Marion Ross have joined ABC Family's cancer drama starring Italia Ricci, The Hollywood Reporter has learned. They will both guest-star.

Chasing Life follows April Carver (Ricci), a twentysomething aspiring journalist who finds out she has terminal cancer.

Asner and Ross will play April's grandparents who come into town to visit during the holidays but end up causing trouble instead.

Asner is repped by Greene & Associates and manager Perry Zimel. Ross, who played Mrs. Cunningham on Happy Days, is repped by Jeffrey Leavitt Agency.

Chasing Life airs Tuesdays at 9 p.m. on ABC Family.
