The design duo Badgley Mischka is celebrating a special milestone in the fashion industry. NY1's Jessica Abo filed the following report.

Designers Mark Badgley and James Mischka are celebrating 25 years in business together. While they have surprises planned for the year for fall 2014 they're toasting to the richness of Vienna.

'We were inspired by Joseph Klimt and Josef Hoffman - Vienna - the turn of the last century about the opulence, the luxury,' says Mischka.

The collection is full of copper, coffee and blush -- prints -- and stunning clutches and jewelry.

'It's really our embroideries that we've changed into jewelry. Everything is tied on with a silk ribbon or mesh,' says Badgley.

The collection may be full of embellished pieces but this design duo says they tried to make everything lighter, so they don't slow down the modern woman on the move.

'Our brocades weigh ounces, you can pick up a gown it feels like a feather, we gilded all of our tweeds so they have a matte and shine,' says Badgley.

Dancer Danielle Peaze says it's a winning combination.

'I think it's important because then you can stand with much better posture rather than feeling like your train is dragging you down,' she says.

And if you're wondering what do with your hair, Peter Grey with Moroccan Oil says you'll need mousse to nail the look.

'We looked at the paintings and wanted to get something painterly but wearable. We got these low sweeping side partings with a low sweeping bang,' he says.

And for make up, a brush of gold with a pale lip will get you ready for your red carpet moment.

'The stars love wearing their clothes, real women love wearing their clothes. So it's a real testament to just how talented they are,' says TV host Giuliana Rancic.
