Health and safety are the focus of the Family FUN Festival at the Coliseum in downtown Sioux Falls. The free festival goes from 11 am to 3 pm and includes entertainer Phil Baker, Bo Bo the Clown, inflatables, vendor booths and door prizes for kids. There will also be a free lunch.
The Greater Midwest Toy Show is taking place this weekend at the Ramkota Exhibit Hall in Sioux Falls. Today's hours are from 9 am to 4 pm. Sunday's hours are from 9 am to 3:30 pm.
Works by more than two-dozen local and regional artists will be featured during the Artists of the Plains Show & Sale. The free show is at the Holiday Inn City Centre in downtown Sioux Falls. Today's hours are from 10 am to 6 pm. Sundays hours are from 10 am to 3:30 pm.
The Brookings Kiwanis Club is hosting a Pancake Feed at the Community Life Center from 7:30 am to 1 pm. Tickets are $6, free for kids 5 and under. The Community Life Center is located at 6th Street & 7th Avenue in Brookings.
Buy a coffee mug specially-designed by CMN kids today at the Choco Latte in Brookings. The mugs cost $15 dollars each, with all the money going to Children's Miracle Network. You can meet the CMN kids and Miss South Dakota State Fair from 9 am to 1 pm.
The Humboldt Sharpshooters are hosting a Chili Feed & Silent Auction from 3:30 to 7 pm at the American Legion in Hartford. The event is a fundraiser for the youth shooting club. The cost is a free will donation. There will be hot dogs for kids.
You've seen them on The White Wall Sessions, tonight the band Hometown Glow performs a free concert at Great Bear Recreation Park. The music starts at 7 pm.
The Stampede hockey team takes on the Green Bay Gamblers at the Sioux Falls Arena. They'll drop the puck at 7:05 pm. Tickets start at $8.50.
