Mulberry has cancelled its on-schedule catwalk show at London Fashion Week Autumn/Winter 2014. Sad face.

The coveted British fashion house has had to drop plans for the February show following the departure of creative director Emma Hill.

According to reports by WWD, the brand said it 'has not finalised its creative director search and will therefore exceptionally not stage a catwalk show this February.'

A highlight of the on-schedule shows, Mulberry say they won't be missing the action completely, adding that it will 'definitely be participating in London Fashion Week and details of this will be released in the near future.'

Here's hoping Mulberry girls Alexa Chung, Kate Moss and Lana Del Rey can still swoon over their favourite brand in some format.

Erdem, Roland Mouret and Mary Katrantzou are among the names rumoured to be taking up the helm at Mulberry, but no designer has yet to be confirmed.
