Last chance adoption

Last chance adoption

Rescue the Animals, SPCA, in conjunction with the Abilene Animal Shelter, is offering you an opportunity to save a life and find yourself a loving companion.

Since 2000, the organizations have put every animal at the shelter on sale for the month of December.

The Abilene Animal Shelter is offering a special holiday discount of $20 for puppies, kittens, dogs and cats adopted from its facility through Dec. 31. Rescue the Animals is joining the shelter in offering additional promotions.

During this special adoption sale, unsterilized dogs will cost $60 and unsterilized cats will cost $50. Sterilized dogs and cats will cost $15 each.

Rescue the Animals will provide a $20 spay/neuter mail-in rebate coupon on each animal adopted from the shelter. The coupons are good at any veterinarian's office.

Visit the Abilene Animal Shelter, 925 S. 25th St., to view animals available for adoption. Hours are 10:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. weekdays and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturdays.
