The show hinted at traditional Chinese fashion. The designer said the collection is inspired by the styles of the Ming dynasty, some 600 years ago. The collection mainly features women's formal attire. And there was also a series of wedding dresses showcased on the runway. 'I try to revive the old traditions and blend it into modern day fashion. Red and gold are the major colors, symbolizing joy and fortune. And I also use some traditional materials,' said Zhang Zhifeng, fashion designer.Rounding out the rest of day one were Beautyberry by Wang Yutao's men's collection and the La pargay Lai Rui collection.
