'Nowadays, designers are using Chinese elements to achieve a very unique feel. I use a lot of light-reflecting materials, and even embroider them. I think the big challenge for today's designers is sourcing materials that aren't normally used,' Ji said. There are more than 50 shows, and 32 are by local designers.
