Today, the bi-annual Shanghai Fashion Week kicked off, as Xintiandi's Taiping Lake Park was transformed into a series of catwalks. With a total of 48 shows through October 23, this year's fashion extravaganza will present both foreign and domestic designers' creations for Spring/Summer 2015.
Names appearing on the catwalk will include Alberta Ferretti, Ermenegildo Zegna, Diesel, Decoster, Ji Cheng, MF, Jade en plus, Kay Kwok and Oasis.
The Shanghai International Fashion Showcase will also take place at the Shanghai Exhibition Center, aiming to introduce more international brands to China. Established in 2001, Shanghai Fashion Week seeks to provide a platform for leading domestic and international brands, as well as independent designers from China.
