The 25 ^thannual Funkshion Miami Beach Fashion Week opened with a bang courtesy of Holt Maisondeluxe. The attendees were buzzing, alcohol was pouring and excitement was stirring before the show began. Ariana, from' Ariana and the Rose ', paved the way for the models.As she sang her song, 'In your bed', the audience was transported into the magical world of Holt. When the sea of models took to the runway, oos and ahs filled the room; with every twist and turn, gasps escaped the lips in the room. The models each sported natural makeup and the trend crossed over into hair as well, with most girls wearing beach inspired loose waves.

The collection began with pops of luscious colors then slowly progressed into neutral subtle tones. One thing is for sure, if you are shy these designs are not for you. However, if you like being the woman everyone looks at and says, 'She is drop-dead gorgeous!' Holt's Spring/Summer 2014 line is your match made in heaven. The breathtaking collection hugged and showcased every curve on the models, transforming each body into a vivacious work of art. Chris, a 20-something South Florida native,took notice and was in awe. He loved the way the clothes accentuated and displayed the female body, but didn't want his girlfriend to know. Prior to the show, he had never heard of Holt but thinks they have what it takes to climb to the top of the fashion world.'They are definitely on the right tract' he said. Chris then went on to describe the collection as 'Very fashion forward, modern and stylish.'

There were three Essentials utilized that helped make the show a success: glitter, shine and lace. When the light hit each dress, it illuminated and drew all eyes towards it. The hand painted detailing on every piece, one of the signature aspects of Holt,was precise and the stitching was clean. Two models, who commanded the runway and stole the audience's attention, were Dashil and Takas. Each time these ladies glided down the runway, they flaunted the clothes so well that those in attendance cried out 'Wow' and 'Beautiful'. One model fell short of the rest and her strut seemed more like a struggle. This poor unfortunate soul looked like she was in pain and could barely walk in her shoes. The audience probably would've been relieved if she just said; 'I can't do this anymore!' then took her shoes off screamed 'I'm free' and continued to walk the runway barefoot.

Celebrities like: Joanna Krupa, Melissa Gorga, Teresea Giudice, Lil Kim and Maritza Bustamante have all been spotted wearing Holt. While only 25, designer/ CEO Elisea Holt Fenster has taken the fashion world by storm and proved she is a force to be reckoned with. Holt truly proves everything that glitters can be gold.
