Oklahoma Fashion Week kicked off Sunday with Media Day. It's going to be a busy, stylish week that will culminate with designer fashion shows on Saturday at Devon Tower. Monday, 8 to 11 p.m., La Brasa fashion party. James Vu presents a fashion party with sponsors Prairie Wolf Vodka and Strong Tonic, Music by Steve Pony with fashion giveaways. Location: 1310 NW 25.
Tuesday, 5:30 to 8:30 p.m., Margaritas, Models and Manicures Mixer at Polished Nail Salon. Location: 3539 West Memorial Road.
Wednesday, 6 to 10 p.m. Empire Sice House Art+Fashion+Food+Music. There is a $5 cover for those who are not OFW staff; free entry with OFW press pass. Art: Jessica Lynn Brown, Zac Cox and Desmond Mason. Fashion: Virginia Boyles and Zack Green, Hair and makeup: L.J. Hill. Food: Empire slices with Prairie Wolf Vodka and Strong Tonic. Thursday, 6 to 8 p.m., Penn Square Mall. Redbull is hosting a Rag Trade Student Design Competition with winner selection today. OFW Emerging Designer Presentation with designers Cenia Paredes with Macy's, WishNow's Victoria Roberts and OSU Emerging designer Amanda Moore. Location: 1901 NW Expressway.
Thursday, 8 to 10 p.m., Style after party, 3Sixty Dance Studio. Juan Cabral hosts a dance party with designers and models with food and beverages. Location: 7312 Cherokee Place.
Friday, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Abi Ferrin trunk show hosted by R Meyers (formerly Ruth Meyers). Location: 6471 Avondale Drive in Nichols Hills Plaza. All atendees, including press, must RSVP at 842-1478
Friday, 6 to 8 p.m., Fashion and Furs, presented by Kowlow's Furs. Designers and models will present. Food and beverages planned. Location: 5637 N Pennsylvania.
Friday, 9 to 11 p.m., Food, Wine & Design at KD's restaurant. Designers and models will be present to mingle wiht guests. Location: 224 Johnny Bench Drive.
Saturday, 4 to 10 p.m. Runway Finale at Devon Tower. Tickets are required. $75 general admission, $175 VIP with two sessions. Session 1: 4 to 6:45 p.m. with designers Isabella Rose Taylor, WishNow, Karol Andrea, J. Taylor Couture, Smith II and Stella Thomas.
Session II: 7 to 9:45 p.m. with Nine Muses, Orlando Dugi, Cenia NY, Abi Ferrin, Nha Khanh and David Tlale.
General admission includes light food, entertainment and fashion shows. VIP includes light food, entertainment and fashion shows, admittance to the VIP Style Lounge with one hour open bar first hour of each session and hors d'oeuvres, VIP giftbags, front two rows of seating and entry form for a chance to win a three-year leased for a Mercedes-Benz CLA and two tickets for Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in New York in September.
