080 Barcelona Fashion to feature Spring/Summer 2015 lines

The upcoming fourteenth edition of the Catalan catwalk event 080 Barcelona Fashion will be once again held at a major historical site located in the Spanish city.

Staying true to its previous years' trends of staging the runway event at some of the phenomenal flagship sites of the city, the forthcoming instalment is slated to take place at the newly renovated Hospital de Sant Pau from June 30 to July 4, 2014.

With the primary aim to serve as a common platform for local garment manufacturers and designers, the event will see lines of Spring/Summer 2015 clothing from several leading local labels such as Mango and Brian & Beast.

Held twice a year, the last January Autumn/Winter 2014-2015 edition of the event, which was held at the Mercat del Born, a famous building in Catalonia, attracted more than 42,000 people.

The soiree was opened by the popular Catalan firm Mango, which featured two collections-a rock star-inspired Rock it up men's fashion line and few creations from its newly launched plus-size women's brand Violetta.

Also clothing labels Brian & Beast and TCN as well as designer labels like Sita Murt featured their fur and wool heavy creations.

Built between 1902 and 1930 by the Catalan modernist architect Domènech i Montaner, the European modernist enclosure Hospital de Sant Pau was declared a World Heritage site by UNESCO in 1997.
