Britain's most feared gangster designs outfits displayed at London Fashion Week

Terry Adams was Godfather of a family thought to be linked to 25 gangland murders, drug trafficking and extortion but now has fashion label N1 Angel

It's a stitch up: Fashion designer

Gangster Terry Adams is set to appear at London Fashion Week after designing outfits for his wife's firm.

The 'Godfather' of one of Britain's most feared crime families - jailed for seven years for money laundering - is expected to show up for label N1 Angel next month.

It is a far cry from his past as head of a family thought to be linked to 25 gangland murders, drug trafficking and extortion.

Adams, 58, is said to have a fortune of £200million but since his 2010 jail release has been fighting to write off £628,000 which he owes the state as he says he is broke.

N1 Angel was drawn into a High Court battle after it was claimed it was a front to hide his past earnings.

Its site says: 'Our name is an affectionate homage to Angel, Islington (N1 London), the area that head designer, Terrence Adams, was born.'
