Jonah Hill Is Writing a Play for Fashion Week

Gareth Pugh may have started a trend when he announced that his first NYFW show would be an immersive live performance 'that would make people think' instead of the traditional runway show. Opening Ceremony has just released details on its SS15 show, or, more accurately, its one-act play co-written by Spike Jonze and Jonah Hill. Jonze will be directing a cast of models and actors through a story line that he and Hill wrote, which still hasn't been finalized as of yet.

Sadly, Hill will not be acting in the play. OC co-founder Humberto Leon told WWD that Jonze was pretty much running the show-the play was his idea, as was getting Hill on board for the project. The brand is slated to show on September 7. Maybe this is the beginning of a revamped NYFW that won't bore everyone to tears anymore. · Opening Ceremony Staging One-Act Play During NYFW [WWD] · Yoko Ono Pays for Lifting Designs for Opening Ceremony Collab [Racked] · Opening Ceremony Has Joaquin Phoenix's Awkward 'Her' Pants [Racked]
