Animal news and views in North Jersey (and beyond)
Good food and nutrition has gone to the dogs, literally.
Certified nutritionist and chef Gayle Pruitt has written a cookbook to demonstrate how to cook healthy dishes for dogs and humans alike - instead of the time consuming task of preparing two meals.
There are more than 100 corn, sugar, soy and gluten-free recipes in ' The Dog-Gone Good Cookbook ' (St. Martin's Griffin, Feb. 18) such as salmon Florentine, spinach kale lasagna, spiced stuffed peppers, chicken pot pie, tomato carrot soup curried beef sliders and more.
The cookbook goes on sale Tue., Feb. 18 for $21.99.
