About a decade ago, Paola Robba started to hand make bikinis from a garage in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

Her Poko Pano swimwear brand has grown into a multinational company. Jessica Simpson, Jane Jackson and Bridget Marquardt are some of the celebrities who love her swim suits.

Her first sales outside of Brazil were in Venezuela. Trading agreements with Portugal, Japan, and Spain followed. It has grown to one of the most popular swimwear brands in the world.

Robba presented her first collection at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Swim in 2008. She has been a regular since. She will be presenting her 2015 collection as the opening act of the event at the Raleigh Hotel.
