Pumpkin Patch: 9 a.m.-7 p.m. Monday through Thursday at Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church, 2501 Heyward St. Proceeds will benefit a Native American reservation. (803) 771-4540


Ghosts and Legends of Lexington County: 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Irmo Branch of the Lexington County Public Library, 6251 St. Andrews Road. Learn about superstitions and hauntings in your own backyard. (803) 798-7880


Family Fun Night: 7 p.m. Wednesday at Chosen 2 Conquer Ministries, 7910 Monticello Road. Games, crafts, candy, hula hoop contest, kids costume contest and prizes. Hot dogs and other refreshments will be available for sale. (803) 691-0962


Palmetto Health Children's Hospital: Halloween carnival and trick-or-treating for hospitalized children, 10-11:30 a.m. Thursday in the atrium, 7 Richland Medical Park Drive, first floor. Patients will have the opportunity to select from costumes donated by Children's Wish, face painting, carnival games and a craft area where children can decorated their own treat bags. The event is for inpatient children as well as those receiving treatment at the Palmetto Health Children's Hospital Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders and at the Tom Bates Day Hospital.
