Style Fashion Week October 2013 Day 1

Style Fashion Week October 2013 Day 1

A night of fashion starts up with glamour and Hollywood nights. The design of the first day was a starry glimpse of what to wear to any formal event. Dark skies set the stage of Ina Soltani and her spider web lace shawl draped effortless over the black net mesh three tier long gown. As for the next look, a one shoulder sandy beige empire dress with pleats on the bust area gives another sense of natural grace walking into the presence of all. Following that look was the scope neckline A-line dress shimmering with gold, flashing down the runway.

Modern and simple silhouettes stride in front of the eyes of the attendees from Malan Breton designs. Starting with the first the black satin stylized mermaid gown with godet peplum inserts remind us of a Grammy like evening. Some of the simple details include the top of the bustier pleated with stylized princess seams which travel down until you get to the shear inserts that sway from side to side. Royal red in a full two-layer gown is seen. The luster in the royal red reflects well and paired with the black corset is reminiscent off a strong woman who braves the night.

Michael Costello is the finale of day one. Oh-so sophisticated silhouettes that Costello captures for a woman with a stride in her walk. The hint of a deep berry brocade print on black, with a deep V-neck peplum at the waist with a lion belt and flared gown is the right combination for a strong woman. The next garment is stylized with a lavish pleated removable fan in a strapless mermaid dress that will fan out from the rest who are afraid to make this type of gesture. The crisscross band halter black gown took the runway. This crisscross element was consistent throughout the design of the gown, which made it more cohesive with the cut-out sides of the dress.
